Here are a few design tips that can help you achieve a jaw dropping powder room that really stands out...
THE MORE THE MERRIER!
Don't limit yourself to just one mirror in your powder room. Rather than a single, oversized mirror above your sink, incorporate multiple mirrors of different sizes and silhouettes. Having one of those mirrors centered over your sink allows you to maintain function, while the others provide a unique visual aesthetic. Consider it a functional art installation.
Another great way to make your powder room stand out is by being bold in your selection of wall finishes. Painting the walls a dark navy, or incorporating a wall covering that plays with a textured or subtle metallic finish, can bring in an element of drama, as well as make the space feel cozy. If going with a darker color from floor to ceiling seems a bit intimidating, you can always incorporate a wainscoting. Leaving the lower half of the wall a crisp white will be a nice contrast to the darker upper half of the wall.
IT'S ALL ABOUT THE FINER DETAILS!
Switching gears to the horizontal plane, your selection of floor materials is another way to make a grand statement. Mosaic tiles make for a great option for a powder room and give you the opportunity to take advantage of the powder room's smaller footprint. A marble basket weave is one of my personal favorites. The tight pattern isn't too overpowering and adds the perfect amount of visual texture.

This is the time of year that inspires us all to spring clean, plant in our yards and soak up the mild temperatures outdoors. For me, a shady spot on the patio is my favorite way to end the day, in a comfortable seat of course!
Now is the time to think about getting that patio ready for those gatherings! Outdoor dining tables and chairs, firepits, maybe even some curved cushion seating for those nights when your friends are all gathered together.
We can help you find the right furniture for your needs and guide you as you choose your customized unique style. We carry a line of high quality outdoor furniture that is beautiful and built to last, coming with a 15 year warranty.
